You can have conversations with your enemy during boss fights in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided won't force you to kill its bosses

These conversations, according to gameplay director Patrick Fortier, are just one of the ways in which the team is supporting all play styles.

Speaking in the latest issue of OXM, via GamesRadar, Fortier said bosses in Mankind Divided are more balanced this time out, and conversations can provided players with “a different means of dealing” with the situation.

Narrative director Mary DeMarle added that choosing whether to keep bosses alive or to kill them will affect the overall narrative. "For Human Revolution, because of the way we designed it, [the bosses] always died in the cutscenes," she said. "You had no choice. But we rectified that in the Missing Link DLC, and we’ve rectified it in this game."

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in the first half of 2016. Here's 25 minutes of gameplay to whet your appetite.
