Right after Mortal Kombat X latest patch notes went out, Ed Boon teased “big news” on Twitter.
The list of patch notes is available on WB Games’ community page. Going over the list is a good reminder of how Mortal Kombat has turned into a far more technical fighting series than it used to be. If you’re a seasoned fighter, notes promising that the developers “removed the ability to add extra inputs while doing a normal attack 2in1 cancel which allowed some characters to have the special move cancel only occur on hit / block” may mean more to you than to the rest of us.
Moments after tweeting out these patch notes, series co-creator Ed Boon hinted at something bigger on Twitter.
Mortal Kombat X huge patch is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
