The Feast update 3.21 brings ranked PvP to Final Fantasy 14
By - Thursday, March 10, 2016

The new PvP mode, The Feast, is now available to Final Fantasy 14 players with the deployment of Patch 3.21.

As previously reported, players will be tasked with stealing their opponent’s medals in teams of four or eight.

A variety of boosts from supply boxes will be available and some will have detrimental effects applying additional damage based on how many medals a player holds and the amount of elapsed time between a KO. Players who have unlocked the “Wolves’ Den” will automatically be able to access this new content.

The addition of ranked PvP kicks off the pre-season period, where players can “get acquainted with the ranking system,” before Season One officially starts with Patch 3.25.

Top competitors will receive special awards at each season’s end and player ranks will be updated daily on the Lodestone.

Further details on the Feast can be found on the Gears of Change promotional website.
