Fallout 4 players on PlayStation 4 will have to wait a bit longer to try out the mod beta.
Bethesda announced a delay for the beta on Twitter, stating the firm will “update everyone” when able. No other information was provided as of press time.
We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.

Bethesda said during E3 2016 there were a few issues they were trying to fix with mods on PS4. One was the file size limit of 900MB, compared to the 2GB limit on Xbox One. The studio was also working with Sony on creating “optimal texture exporting support” in a future update.”
Xbox One users have been able to play around with mods for close to a month now, and just this week the mod reporting tool was updated to combat stolen and pirated mods.
A new time-based filter was added to all major categories on the site and users can only upload mods if they have a Steam-linked Bethesda.net account.
They must also own Fallout 4 on Steam.
