Is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 going to come out on PlayStation 4?
Marvel Ultimate Alliance and its sequel were among a very special breed of action RPG/brawler games we don’t see the likes of which anymore.
The games let you take control of a team of four superheroes that you can take into battle and change between them on the fly. It was more or less what a modern brawler or beat-em-up would look like, only you had a big roster of Marvel characters at your disposal.
The sequel will apparently be making its way to PlayStation 4, according to a leaked trophy set that appeared earlier. These popped up alongside others for the original Dead Rising.
This could either indicate a remaster is on the way, or a re-release of some sort. The game was published by Activision and developed by Vicarious Visions, an Activision studio, so we could be looking at another Prototype situation, though hopefully it will be given better treatment.
