Final Fantasy 15 is further off than you hoped, but you can still immerse yourself in its world.
A companion to Final Fantasy 15, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 is a full-length CG movie that sets the stage and tells a complementary tale of an elite unit charged with protecting the royal family.
It looks absolutely spectacular, as you’d expect from an extended Final Fantasy cutscene, and boasts an impressive cast: Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) and Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings), to name a few.
The full Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 movie will debut August 23, but you can check out the first 12 minutes above.
Final Fantasy 15 releases in November for PS4 and Xbox One, having been delayed from its September launch earlier this week. Alex went hands on with it recently, and is pretty impressed but thinks Final Fantasy 15 needed to be delayed.
At this stage it’s been such a long time coming that two more months of waiting for Final Fantasy 15 is kind of laughable. Remember how it was announced alongside Final Fantasy 13 for PS3? Oh how young we all were. I’ll be in a retirement home before Final Fantasy 16 launches.
