Sony has officially kicked off this year’s Tokyo Game Show with its own pre-show livestream.
The conference is live right now from Japan. You can watch the official feed below, which helpfully features live English translation.
In the last few years, Sony’s TGS conferences have been light on content relevant to Western fans. You’ll most likely hear about new DualShock 4 colours, and PS4 bundles with games big in Japan, such as Monster Hunter (maybe one for next year’s Monster Hunter World?) and the like.
Traditionally, the Sony show has been heavy on third-party demos and trailers, even for games that have already been released. There’s most definitely going to be a segment about Call of Duty: WW2, and we may even get one for Destiny 2.
Earlier today, rating pages for Final Fantasy 9 popped up online, so there’s a good chance we’ll hear more about this during the conference. Square Enix games are almost always a guarantee.
