State of Decay 2 has only been out a coupe of days, and it’s already hit the one million players mark.
The sequel to Undead Labs’ first outing, State of Decay 2 broke the one million player mark within two days of its May 22 release.
Since Early Access for the Ultimate Edition on May 18 and the global release of the Standard Edition earlier this week, six million combined hours of gameplay have been logged. Folks have also watched over 3.5 million hours of gameplay across Mixer, Twitch and YouTube.
According to Microsoft, during this time over 675 million zombies have been killed, 6 million firecrackers and fireworks have been thrown, and 6 million bags of snacks were eaten,. There have been 2 million textbooks read, and the typical survivor can stay alive for around three days.
State of Decay 2, like other Microsoft first parties, was made available day one through Xbox Game Pass.
Undead Labs said it has recently addressed various issues and bugs, and “will continue to address them” as its number one priority.
