DICE gave us a look at Battlefield 5’s single-player campaign during the Xbox E3 2018 briefing today.
War Stories is the single-player mode for Battlefield 5, and instead of showing this portion off during EA Play, DICE saved it for the Microsoft show.
DICE said previously the campaign in Battlefield 5 would focus on stories which haven’t been explored too much in video games. It’s goal instead is to tell some of the lesser known stories of World War 2 in the single-player.
As previously reported, the War Stories structure from Battlefield 1 returns in Battlefield 5. Different characters will be featured in various, “unexpected” theaters with self-contained missions.
The video shown today didn’t tell us much, but hopefully DICE will be ready to provide more details soon. The video embed here was pulled off Twitter. Once the official trailer is released, we’ll replace it.
