The Steam Summer Sale is live with various discounts highlighted.
Dubbed the Intergalactic Summer Sale, discounts are available from today, June 21 through July 5.
Today’s highlights include discounts for: Tyranny, Grim Dawn, Ni No Kuni 2, PUBG – which went on sale earlier this week, the Fallout franchise, Everspace, West of Loathing, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, and more.
Folks can save up to 75% off Stardock’s games during the sale, P.A.M.E.L.A. is 40% off, and Headup Games titles are discounted up to 80% off.
Highlights listed on the storefront in the Steam client may vary depending upon your interests.
A new browser game for the Steam Summer Sale is also available. Play it while you add more titles to the library you’ll never get time to play. It’s called Salines, and you’re tasked with defending your Salien’s “Deal-tection Station” to earn points while it locates the games.
Once a player picks a Salien, they will head to a planet where they will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of its rewards when conquered. The longer a Salien spends on a planet the higher the chance of winning a game. You will also win trading cards.
By playing on any active planet, you will be entered to win a game. There’s a list available which shows which planet is giving away a particular game. Each planet is themed by game genre.
For example: Bullet Hell Planet has Nuclear Throne up for offer; and TerritoryControl_PlanetPirates features Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
There are other planets coming as the sale wanes.
Enjoy your savings and playing the game.
