Microsoft Confirms Absence from E3 2023 Showfloor, But Xbox Games Showcase Still Set to Impress
What to Expect from Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase
Gamers worldwide are eagerly anticipating E3 2023, but Microsoft fans may be disappointed to learn that the tech giant won't be on the showfloor this year. In a statement to IGN, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that the company will not have a physical presence at the event but will instead be supporting the show via Digital Week.
Despite not being at the show, Microsoft is still set to make a splash with its Xbox Games Showcase on June 11. Fans can expect more information on the highly anticipated event to be released in the coming weeks.
What Else to Look Forward to at E3 2023
E3 2023 Digital Week will feature a host of online showcases, including the PC Gaming Show, Future Games Show, Guerilla Collective, a dedicated Starfield Direct, and Black Voices in Gaming. Meanwhile, E3 Industry Days, reserved exclusively for registered contributors to video games, press, and content creators, will take place from June 13 to June 15. E3 Gamer Days will then run from June 15-16 with access for the public, industry, and media attendees.
After the disappointment of last year's all-digital event, many gamers are eagerly anticipating the return of an in-person E3. With so much to look forward to, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
