Game Athen: Myst and Riven composer Robyn Miller has confirmed he’s back on board for Obduction’s score.
Miller had previously been announced as participating in the project, voicing a character alongside brother Rand. The two founded Myst and Riven developer Cyan Worlds, which Rand continues to lead today.
Obduction was successfully Kickstarted in late 2013 with an anticipated 2015 launch, but has since been pushed back to the second quarter of 2016, on Mac and PC. It’s an all-new project with no canonical ties to earlier titles. Gameplay and atmosphere-wise, though, we’re expecting something pretty familiar – especially with the original composer contributing.
