Bungie has issued a hotfix for Destiny which corrects the Players In Activity feature and will result in the “resumption of the regular schedule” for Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris.

Destiny hotfix corrects Players In Activity feature, Trials of Osiris may return tomorrow

The team said with Players In Activity, it tried something new to help players find friends in the “activities” they wish to play. Unfortunately, it was “creating problems” for those who have lots of friends.

Hotfix 2.3.0.1 will now cap the display at a maximum of ten friends.

Bungie said that Trials of Osiris may return tomorrow, June 24, and once it “confirms all is well,” it will announced whether it is time to return to the Lighthouse.

The team may also reschedule Lord Saladin’s appearance in the Tower so that Iron Banner can happen next week.

To recap, here’s what’s included in today’s hot fix:

  • Fixed an issue that could occur when inspecting activities being played by a large number of friends
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent matchmaking into an activity that was being played by a large number of friends

There are also some issues which the team continues to investigate. Those are below.

  • Players are not receiving Legendary Marks when completing the Daily Heroic Story Missions Paradox or Lost to Light. Until resolved, Legendary Mark rewards will be granted via Postmaster at a later date to those who complete the Daily Heroic activity when one of these missions is featured.
  • Some players who completed a Refer-a-Friend links on Bungie.net between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM PDT on June 10th, 2016, are unable to retrieve their Quest from the Speaker in the Tower. This issue does not impact the 7 day Referee eligibility time period for impacted players.

Destiny: Rise of Iron will be released on September 20,
