Crafting outlandish guns is one of Mothergunship’s main selling points, and you can try that part out for free today.
Mothergunship’s gun crafting range, a weapon creator that allows you to use various pieces that typically make up guns and assemble them into your own outrageous creation, is now accessible for all.
The idea to is to build rifles with many barrels, rocket launchers with weird spiky balls and other such creations. The game’s modular gun customisation system goes beyond what you find in more reserved shooters.
It fits with the game’s pitch of being a first-person shooter with bullet hell gameplay. If your enemies will be firing a hail of bullets with no regard for responsible weapon deisgns, it’s only fair that you do too.
The gun crafting range also acts as a free demo for Mothergunship. It features a small snippet of story, and obviously lets you try out your various designs. The enemies killed in this test range will drop parts you can refactor into future designs.
The demo is available for free on Steam, PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store.
Mothergunship is out later this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
