Paladins is coming to Switch as soon as next week.
Hi-Rez Studios is bringing its team-based, multiplayer shooter Paladins to Switch on June 12. A free-to-play version of Paladins will be made available for the console later this summer.
The studio said the Switch version will also run at 60 frames-per-second. This is due to a custom, in-house port of Unreal Engine 3, “offering the full experience in both handheld and docked modes.”
At release, the game will also feature cross-play multiplayer between Xbox One and Switch.
Players can gain access to Paladins on Switch by purchasing the Founder’s Pack on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. The Founder’s Pack includes all current 36 Champions, all future Champions, and a number of Founder Exclusive cosmetic items.
Rise of Furia, the recently announced event?, will be made available on Switch later this month.
The game already has 25 million players across PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was released in full on May 8.
