Dark Souls Remastered releases later this week, and enough critics have played the RPG to warrant a reviews round-up.
Dark Souls Remastered releases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 25. As previously reported though, Switch users will have to wait until this summer to get their hands on it – same with the Praise the Sun amiibo
A network test for the game was held for PS4 an Xbox One two weekends ago. The test is still planned for Switch before its release, but with the delay, we’re unsure when it will go live.
One of the benefits of the remastered version is Blighttown – an area infamous for frame-rate dips – runs smoothly at 60fps on PS4 and PS4 Pro. No more jaggy-jumpy then. Last month, we got a glimpse of Blighttown on Nintendo Switch master at PAX East and it appeared to run smoothly on the console as well.
Below you will find links to reviews for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. All scores are based out of ten unless noted.
